Background:

After a 2-year hiatus from in-person Upfront events due to COVID and with the acquisition of WarnerMedia by Discovery, Amanda was engaged  by WarnerMedia in  the winter of 2022 to Executive Produce the first significant corporate event for the soon to be combined Warner Bros. Discovery. 

Opportunity:

Just 5 weeks after the acquisition of WarnerMedia by Discovery, the upfront was the first major public event to demonstrate the power of Warner Bros. Discovery and its position as the world’s most dynamic media and entertainment company.  The event and presentation showcased WBD’s differentiated and portfolio of content, brands, franchises and talent to clients, agency partners, investors, sell-side analysts and press.  Amanda oversaw the planning and execution inclusive of run of show, production, guest experience, talent management, internal employee messaging, trade and OOH.
